What is the cut-off date for the age categories?
A child’s age will be determined by their age on the submission deadline for that year’s awards.
Age categories are based on how old the child is on that date, regardless of their birthday later in the year.

Example:
If a child turns 8 on or before the submission deadline, they will be placed in the 8–9 age category.
If they turn 8 after the deadline, they will remain in the 6–7 age category.
